This award highlights the move towards integrated payroll and HR departments, rewarding an integrated team that is making a real difference to their employer and employees. The judges will be looking for a team that is delivering business efficiencies and better employee service.

Teams nominated in this category must be providing both payroll and HR services and have at least four members of payroll and HR staff in total.

The judges said Croydon Council has come through difficult times and completely transformed the service it offers.
